• Installing and configuring software such as operating systems, drivers and applications
• Assisting clients with hardware and software issues
• Maintaining network infrastructure such as equipment and cabling
• Minimum two years of experience that includes pc/desktop support, hands-on implementation and configuration of network devices such as servers, hubs, switches, routers, wireless access points, associated software tools and desktop computers in a LAN/WAN environment.
• Knowledgeable of MS Windows desktop environment MS Office applications, PC hardware and terminology.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues for desktops, hardware & peripherals
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to maintain effective relationships with all levels of professional staff and executives. An ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Must have a sociable demeanor, capable of building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients and co-workers.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Dell, HP, IBM hardware certifications a plus
All Positions General Description:
• Must effectively support client base with exceptional skills and diligence. He/she is responsible for supporting clients’ networks and hardware.
• Must maintain quality documentation on clients' technology and the changes made thereof. Accurately reporting labor and sales is imperative.
